December- wrapped up!

Ok- so granted- It's August now, but December did come and go in all it's glory. December was filled with festive family activities, a school play, visits from my Aunt Nancy and Uncle Glen and then from our Erie friends, Beth, Curtis and their kiddos, Aubrey and Rylan. We went to the Daniel Stowe Botanical Gardens to see the Christmas lights and enjoyed making Christmas cookies together! Oh- and we also had a new friend come stay with us for the month- Buddy, the Elf. Buddy was found in the branches of our Christmas tree- sent to us from Santa himself! Buddy would find a new spot to sit and watch over the girls during the day and then at night, he would return to the North Pole to tell Santa how the girls behaved during the day. It was fun for Olivia to come downstairs every morning to find Buddy in a new spot. She even wrote a letter to Santa to send along with Buddy one evening. Buddy returned to the North Pole on Christmas Eve with Santa, but we look forward to his visit next December!
