The other night Olivia was standing on her stool "sharing" a snack with Nora (the snack was for Nora and Olivia was stealing little bites...) Anyway- I said something to her and she turned towards me and the stool gave out under her and she fell, hitting below her eye on the table then her temple on the chair. Derek was upstairs on the computer and when he heard me say "Oh no, oh no!" he catapulted out of his chair (he thinks he made it down 2 stairs) and took her from me to assess the damage. When she let him look, it wasn't too bad, but we were still unsure if there was any damage. After doing a complete analysis, he determined that she would be ok and that we'd just have to watch her over the next few hours. She really only cried for about 5 minutes, then every so often while she held the ice pack to her eye. After about a half hour, she seemed fine (especially after we went to Coldstone for some ice cream) The pictures below are of her making her "emotion faces"- she's not really sad...
